BAHA and the California Native Plant Society’s East Bay Chapter sponsored a visit to the threatened oak grove in front of California Memorial Stadium, a picnic lunch in the garden of the Willis Jepson House on Panoramic Hill, and a ramble up Strawberry Canyon’s Jordan trail.

Much of the oak grove in front of Memorial Stadium is slated for destruction. U.C. plans to build a Student Athlete High Performance Center along the west-northwest perimeter of the stadium.
